Anomaly Of Galaxy Quest

This week, Angela and I read emails from a few of our loyal listeners, talked about why you should never call an office at five pm on a Friday, described our Lucy and Ethel moment and discussed a future classic: Galaxy Quest.

Thanks again to all those who have given us kind reviews on iTunes— we appreciate your time. Please consider leaving us a review if you haven't yet. We're also listed on Digg, Mediafly, Podcast Alley and others. Toss us a vote on those sites as well.

Check out this site for general inconsistencies in Star Trek. Thanks Chris. Maybe this would make a good episode topic.

Here's a link where you can see the Millenium Falcon in Star Trek: First Contact,
the Enterprise in Battlestar Galactica, and an assundry of Star Trek vessels in Firefly.

I hope you enjoy our latest episode. As always, if you have any questions or comments about our latest episode, please send us feedback at girlygeekz@gmail.com or post your comments here. If you like Anomaly, please post about us in forums, blogs or your favorite podcast sites. And if you get a chance, visit our web site. I plan to update it soon with new content as well as a new flash player where you can listen to the full versions of our original intro and outro music. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi,

I wanted to respond to your comment on my blog (comicxpress).

I've heard everything that you mentioned (except "San Antone" of course). However, I've never actually been to Pleasanton, I have driven through it though.

I realize that some people in Texas have heavy accents but my main problem with "Texans" in movies is that they seem to be channeling the same "Texan" and I feel that the accents they use make them seem ignorant or I suppose as they'd say, "Ignant."

And I made an offensive offhand comment about the Minutemen, so apologies for that one.

Finally, thank you for reading my blog. And yes, I do plan on keeping the comic reviews coming. Later tomorrow or today since it's 12:45 am, I'll be taking a look at the comic that inspired the movie Wanted.
