Anomaly of Our Fateful Return

My name is Angela, and when I sit down to a computer my fingers go automatically to A, W and D and I am an Anomaly. Well I am very excited to announce that we are back baby! Jen has settled into motherhood and I am well on my way to recovery from the surgery to turn me into a cyborg. The most recent podcast is a mish mash update of your Anomaly girls and I hope you enjoy it.

On a personal note, I have been more than overwhelmed by the support our listeners/fans/friends have so generously shown since my diagnosis almost a month ago. It has been a whirlwind and I am just darn lucky to have all of you our there rooting for me. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. Here is some flowers from the Treksf Forum:

So what else is up with Anomaly? We are getting ready for Ren Fest. Our costumes will be warrior this year, which I think is appropriate. I have been completely obsessed with the costuming process as I have been stuck at home. I will post in our costume section of the forum to show the progress of the costumes. I have also been playing xbox and teaching Russell how to use the force. Jen is almost done with the last Wheel of Time book and continuing to play xbox even with baby in her lap. Motherhood and sickness will not keep us from being the Anomalies we are.

Also I am so excited about the blog posts from Anne and Sue recently. If you have not read them, please scroll down and do so. There is much excitement regarding a certain fan girl video.

We will be hosting a watching part on xbox Netflix on October 17 at 7 p.m. of the Buffy Musical Episode which we will be watching to prepare for a podcast on the topic sometime in November. You can friend, Sevryll or Reynalynn to get in on the action. Just send a message that you are from the podcast. We love you guys so much and cannot wait to continue podcasting for your enjoyment.

So happy to see you writing a blog, Angela!:) And so happy to hear the Anomalies are still kicking awesome. I am really excited to hear the new episode and see your costume progress. I myself have been pretty costume obsessed as of late so any time I even hear the word 'costume' my ears perk up!:)
Keep feeling better and know that we're praying for you!

So great to hear a new Anomaly podcast! I've been missing hearing you guys debate and discuss. Interesting argument about Star Wars vs. Star Trek. I've been thinking about taking the TNG plunge since I've really only seen a few episodes. I've always been a Star Wars fan through and through, BUT I have to agree. Watching the prequels is definitely like going to the dentist. It's like... you know you have to do it. It's completely inevitable and necessary to your health that you watch Star Wars. But then when you're sitting there you really wish you didn't have to watch it and that there had been more novocaine... Or vodka. What a waste of good actors! I'd rather kiss a wookie than watch Natalie Portman make her sad "on the verge of tears because I'm so in love with a madman" face EVER AGAIN. I think I've pushed that metaphor as far as it can go.

I met up with Anomalies Sue and Michele last weekend and they also expressed love of TNG. Hey, I avoided Buffy FOREVER and then watched it this past year and fell in love. I'm willing to bet TNG could be the same!

Can't wait to watch Buffy with you guys! I'm totally down for the watching party. I'll message you on Xbox, but my call sign is Hearthsinger, just so you know who I am!

Now to bed because tomorrow I'm headed to New York Comicon bright and early! Great episode! Only wish it was longer :)

PS! I can't wait to see your costumes! Cosplay for the ren faire and cons is always something I want to do but just don't have the talent to pull off. I need to find a friendly Anomaly seamstress in my neck of the woods :)

Just listened to your latest podcast with you and Jen. Great to hear you back at the mic Angela (and loved the youngling noises in the background too). Looking forward to many more podcasts from both of you!
