This installment of
Anomaly features a review of
Once More With Feeling, a musical episode of
Buffy the Vampire Slayer that fans and
non fans alike greatly enjoy. The folks who joined us on this
Skype call (Sue, KC, Anne and Chris,) were also apart of the Buffy Watching Party that Angela and I hosted on
Netflix/
XBOX Live, back in October. It was a blast and our contributors all had awesome insights, including
Joss's musical influences and fun trivia. If you're a blog subscriber, but have never listened to the podcast I hope you'll give this episode a shot.

Music clips played in the podcast were from the Once More With Feeling Soundtrack. It's available at
Target.com,
Amazon.com,
CDuniverse and
iTunes to name a few.
Please consider leaving Anomaly a rating on iTunes! We haven't had one in quite a while. :)

Just recently discovered your podcast and I love it! It's always awesome to hear about all the geeky tv/movies/comics I love from other female geeks. This was the first episode I listened to and I enjoyed the insights and everybody's thoughts about OMWF, especially the musical theater stuff. But I do have to point out one thing. There seemed to be confusion about what the line in "I'll Never Tell" that goes, "His penis got diseases from a Chumash tribe" was referring to. It's from the fourth season episode Pangs and is a reference to Xander being cursed by a Chumash spirit with numerous diseases that settlers spread to the Chumash tribe, one of which was syphilis. You may already have received emails or voicemails about this or may have realized it yourselves, but the Buffy nut in me couldn't go without correcting this as Pangs is one of the funniest episodes ever. Thanks and keep doing what you do!
